Under the direction of Mr. Rick Maysenhoelder, our Mortgage Investment Manager with over 25 years of mortgage lending experience, investor clients have experienced solid investment returns based on well-structured mortgage investments. To date we have been involved in over $110 million in privately syndicated mortgage loans on behalf of our investors with over 80% of loans generating more than a 10% per annum annualized interest return. 

Examples of these investments and the returns achieved include the following mortgages:

Second Mortgage on Vernon, BC Care Home

$500,000 was invested over a two-year term yielding investors 12% per annum. The loan was paid out from the re-financing of the first mortgage by a big five bank.

First Mortgage on Surrey, BC 4.67 acres of development lands for multi-family housing

$3,600,000 was invested over a two-year term yielding investors 14.25% per annum. The loan was paid out from the sale of the property after going through a realization process.

Second Mortgage on Edmonton, Alta. Industrial Property

$7,000,000 was invested over a 16 month term yielding investors 12% per annum. The loan was paid out from the sale of the property.

First Mortgage on Squamish, BC 54.61 acre residential subdivision

$11,800,000 was invested over a sixteen month term yielding investors 13.5% per annum. The loan was paid out from the re-financing of the first mortgage.

First Mortgage on Surrey, BC Shopping Centre

$6 million was invested over a two-year term yielding investors 9% per annum. The loan was paid out from the sale of the property.

First Mortgage on Raw Land in Squamish, BC

$630,000 was invested over a three-month term yielding investors in excess of 18% per annum. The loan was paid out from bank financing.

First Mortgage on Gulf Island Resort Development Acreage

$3,500,000 was invested over a one-year term yielding our investors 12% per annum. The loan was paid out through bank financing.

First Mortgage on Office Industrial Building in Surrey, BC

$1.8 million was invested over a one-year term yielding investors in excess of 10% per annum. The loan was paid out through the sale of the property.

Second Mortgage on West Vancouver, BC Office Building

$1.15 million was invested over an approximate four-year term yielding investors 11% per annum after which the loan was paid out.

Second Mortgage on Surrey, BC Shopping Centre

$1.6 million was initially invested for a 3½ year term yielding our investors a 10% per annum return.  Upon maturity a re-finance was done at $1.05 million yielding investors 9.5% for an additional two years until the loan was paid out from the sale of the property.
